Job Description

Our client is seeking motivated individuals to join their production team as Manufacturing Finishing Associates. This position supports the final preparation and quality finishing of metal components through sanding, surface finishing, cleaning, and inspection activities. Training is provided, making this a great opportunity for candidates looking to gain hands-on manufacturing experience.

1st Shift

  • Monday - Thursday, 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM (Friday as needed)
  • Starting Pay: $19.00/hour

2nd Shift

  • Monday - Thursday, 3:00 PM - 1:30 AM
  • Starting Pay: $21.00/hour
  • Training period may require a temporary start time of approximately 1:00 PM for the first two weeks.

Responsibilities

  • Perform finishing operations on metal components, including sanding, edge smoothing, and surface preparation.
  • Operate finishing equipment to achieve required product appearance and quality standards.
  • Inspect parts for surface defects and overall quality.
  • Clean finished components using production washing equipment.
  • Handle and move lightweight materials throughout the work process.
  • Follow established safety and quality procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications

  • Ability to communicate effectively in English.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 15 pounds as needed.
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license required.
  • Previous manufacturing experience
